David A. Shaw

Plaque Inscription:
Dave Shaw began his Hall of Fame career in 1962 at Eagles Lanes where he would get three games of bowling for $1.05 from fellow MBA Hall member Ken Foster. He shot 300 his first year of adult bowling in 1972.
20 years later, after a 10 year bowling hiatus for family commitments, Shaw joined a couples league at Dream Lanes and once again threw a perfect game his ‘first’ year. By 1996 he was competing in the Dream Lanes Major League and averaging 225.
Now a member of the Professional Bowlers Association, Shaw averages in the 230’s, with a career high average of 241. To date he has amassed nine 299 games, 13 perfect games, and five 800 series. He owns two MBA Senior City Tournament titles, a MAST senior title, and has a number of high finishes in WSBA State and PBA regional senior competition.
