Plaque Inscription:

His bowling career began in youth leagues at Schwoegler Lanes under the tutelage of MBA Hall members Mel, Connie, and Bill Schwoegler, Jim Nye, and Paul Vaughn.

Following graduation from Madison Memorial where he lettered in baseball and was 2nd team All City as a pitcher, he made his mark on the lanes early – becoming one of the first 10 bowlers to roll an 800 series in the history of the MBA, an 818 in 1975.

He continued to be a top competitor, posting a dozen perfect games in four centers over four decades, along with five 299’s, and two more 800 series.

His diverse successes include an MBA team championship in 1983, an 11th place finish at the Petersen in 1993, and a Badgerland 300 title in 2002. He was the MBA high composite average player in the 2001-02 season.

With the encouragement and support from his wife, Deb, friends, and teammates, Dave Rasmussen continues to maintain averages near 230 in standard leagues, over 190 in Sport Bowling competition, and is sure to find continued success on the lanes.
