Bernard Duve

Plaque Inscription:
A popular individual who put a budding career as a competitive bowler on the backburner to become one of the area's top boosters as a bowling center proprietor. At the time of his induction, he was proprietor of Casino Lanes in Madison and Dodge Center in Horicon. With former partner Al Blaser, he brought the era of automatic scoring to the city. When Madison hosted the American Bowling Congress National Tournament in 1969, they sponsored an entire booster squad. He served as an officer and board member of both local and state bowling proprietor organizations and took an active role in building the city's junior bowling program. As a bowler, he joined with Hall of Famer Paul Vaughn to capture the MBA Doubles title in 1970 and was a member of the MBA Champion team that same year.
