Annual Meeting Election Results
The Annual Meeting of the Madison USBC Bowling Association was held on June 19, at Dream Lanes. Candidates for the offices of President and Vice-President were on the ballot, as were some Director positions.
Current Vice-President Z. Charles Reithmeyer won the election for MBA President and will begin his term on August 1. Reithmeyer succeeds outgoing President Jerry Wilson who decided not to seek re-election after his five year (and 40 day) term of service. The MBA thanks Jerry Wilson for his hard work and dedication to leading the MBA over these many years.
Director George Dorn won the election for Vice-President and will also start his term August 1, taking over for Reithmeyer.
Director incumbents Greg Pursell, Don Aslakson, and Matt Maly were re-elected. Incumbent Warne Copus did not seek re-election, and the MBA appreciates his service to the association.
Pursell and Aslakson begin another three year term and Maly will fill the remaining two years of Dorn's vacated directorship. New Directors elected were Tim Reithmeyer and MBA Hall of Fame member Mark Habich.
